WOOCOMMERCE

Use public WooCommerce product information in your chatbot.

The WooCommerce integration reads a publicly accessible product catalogue. Combine it with your own shipping and return policies, review the content and test questions before using the sources.

What the integration can read

The existing connector uses the public WooCommerce Store API. Available product names, descriptions, links and orderability can be used as sources. Your store must support and expose the required public API. A security plugin or a different configuration may prevent the connection.

Orderable does not mean physically in stock

A product that can be ordered online may not be immediately in stock. Backorders, variants and catalogue freshness can make a difference. Use the displayed status carefully; the chatbot must not turn it into an unverified delivery date or an exact stock count.

Policies come from your business

The catalogue does not replace your return and shipping pages. Add them separately to the knowledge base. Check costs, countries, deadlines and exceptions, and do not fill missing policy with assumptions. You approve knowledge changes before use.

Connect and verify

Add your store address in Studio, check the connection and review the retrieved sources. Test specific products and a product missing from the catalogue. After a catalogue change, check which information is used. Store data in the subscription widget is available with Professional; choose the plan that matches your needs.

No access to personal orders

This integration does not verify customer identity, read private orders or change orders. Personal order questions still require your existing support process. There are no automatic refunds and no claim of official WooCommerce partner status.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to share administrator keys for the public catalogue?

Not for this public catalogue integration. Never put secret API keys or customer data in the knowledge base. Only publicly available information is used.

Does it work with every WooCommerce store?

That is not guaranteed. The public API, security settings and store configuration determine whether import succeeds. Check the connection and actual product answers in your own workspace.
