SHOPIFY
A chatbot for your Shopify store, with product knowledge you review.
Chatbino installs the chatbot in your Shopify store after your approval. With Professional you can also use your store's public product catalogue as a source. You review the content and test questions before visitors use the chatbot.
What the integration can read
The connector uses your store's public Storefront API through the original myshopify.com address. Product names, descriptions, variants, product links and whether a variant is available for sale can be used as sources. If you have published a shipping or refund policy in Shopify, it can be retrieved too. A restricted store cannot be imported.
Available for sale is not the same as in stock
A variant that can be ordered online may not be immediately deliverable. The chatbot must not turn it into a delivery date or an exact stock count. Each import retrieves a limited part of a large catalogue; check which products were included.
Your own policies still lead
Add shipping costs, delivery times, countries and return exceptions if they are not complete in Shopify. Do not fill missing policy with assumptions. You approve knowledge changes before they are used.
Installed by Chatbino
You do not receive installation code. After your approval and subscription payment, we arrange placement in your store with you and Chatbino handles installation and activation. Installing the chatbot alone does not give it access to the current catalogue; that integration is part of Professional.
No access to personal orders
The integration does not read private orders, verify customer identity or change orders. There are no automatic refunds and no claim of official Shopify partner status. Personal order questions remain with your own customer service.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to share administrator access or an API key?
No, not for the public catalogue integration. Never put secret keys or customer data in the knowledge base. Only publicly available information is used.
Does it work with every Shopify store?
That is not guaranteed. Use the original myshopify.com address; the public Storefront API must be accessible. Check the connection and product answers in your own workspace.

Try the fictional store on the homepage. Then prepare a chatbot using your own website and review the results in Studio.
